The Dandeli Sentience.

Image
Just in the corner of Karnataka , Maharashtra and Goa enchants a deeply dense forest with its own animals, river and people! Named after the landlord Dandelappa , Dandeli is not only a tourist trap but a haven to complete one's life's meditation. My journey began with a roadtrip from Pune to Dandeli as a family decision for quality family time (total chaos😂). It took 10 hours approximately to reach in total as we halted in Kolhapur for the night. The highway and the roads to Dandeli are soo good that they seem a scene from all of Imtiaz Ali's movies! Roads in Dandeli Our stay was limited to Dewdrops resort which is really good for families, solo travellers and friend groups but I recommend you to explore other hotels especially for food. But for stay Dewdrops is the best, they really have a chill vibe with DJ in the evening, rain dance and two swimming pools with an immense background of dense paper trees.   DAY 1 We reached the resort in the afte

The Coffin Of The Dracula.

Image
As it began to dawn the Dracula returned to his coffin as usual. With blood still dripping down his mouth, he wondered how his life would have been if he'd have the same warm blood as of it's prey. He thought of living an adventurous life strolling the streets during the day, sucking on different types of food flavors rather than blood, befriending humans instead of hypnotizing them and also long walks on the beach with warm sand beneath his feet. It was all just death-dealing. An unworthy abandonment of the luxuries that he now possessed. An unfulfilled thirst of dreams remained in his cold heart.  He stood before his coffin comforting       himself on his fate and that his coffin was   the most safe and sound place in the   entire world! He lied down in his coffin   wondering the maybes of his alternative   life. With immense powers and huge   empire, the Dracula was still dismal about the impossible lifestyle of the common man, forgetting his own

It Seems Unreal...

Image
Trying to maintain a balance between mental health and physical health, seems unreal. Standing in the crowded train, swaying with the wind, seems unreal. Crossing streets during the traffic signal, life seems unreal. Travelling at night with the deep fear of getting lost with the music, seems unreal Becoming common in the public, seems unreal. Getting lost in the crowd of chaos and routine seems unreal. Is it the fate bestowing or just the 'now' happening? The biggest fear of loosing the self happens at the most tender moments of life. Just when you think this is all you ever wanted, life seems unreal; The subconscious feeling of getting detached in the presence of people seems unreal. Life seems unreal without a place in the world The illusion of a place in the world, too seems unreal The only brave thing is to keep hope in the misty fog of life; Just like a balloon left free in the open sky  To burst or to fly is the confusion But getting lost is constant. Just like a kite ti

The Jungle Trek Of Aadrai

Image
Walking through the dancing meadow we followed the nature's trail to see the water from the parallel cliff cascade down with tremendous speed, astoundingly splattering up in the sky as the air drifted it back with immense speed.....                           Hidden between the Mountainous arms of the Sahyadri , the Aadrai jungle is the perfect getaway spot for all the urbanites looking for a break from the stinky city rush. Located in Junnar in the Pune district, the jungle of Aadrai is an untouched nature's bliss that lies deep within the Malshet Ghat .                       Our journey began early in the morning, we boarded the bus and headed towards the base village. The trek was completely organised by Trekpanda  . So we got down, had our breakfast packed our necessities and started marching downwards the village road. The village was located at the bank of a beautiful lake whose water glittered as the morning sun-shine bounced of it's surface

Kalsubai Shikhar

Located in Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra, The Kalsubai peak is truly a trekker's paradise. With a cosmic height of 1646 meters it impales into the sky leaving the clouds grounded. Situated in the middle of Bari village, the Kalsubai peak holds the legend of a young tribal girl named Kalsu who walked to the very top of the mountain after getting angry on an unwanted marriage proposal and lived there for as long as anyone can remember. KALSUBAI PEAK (BARI VILLAGE)         I started my trip early on 24th December from Pune and reached the Bari village by 3 pm, had lunch in the folksy hotel nearby, freshened up in a dorm room and headed towards the camping site which was half way up the peak. The trek began by passing through the tribal village and crossing a small wheat field. It was very rustic as if returning to a 50 s village.             Started climbing and it was relatively easy.  [So even if you are a beginner you'll do just fine]  It was a slope upwards
